My name is Nir Kalish and I was born in March 1978 in Tel Aviv, Israel. I have a degree in computer science from the interdisciplinary center in Herzlia, Israel were I had an entrepreneurship scholarship from Efi Arazi (the founder of Scitex corp and EFI inc).

During my degree I worked in Tescom as tester and team leader for satellite ground control in IAI for 4.5 years. Afterwards, I worked in Bsor project management where I established the QA department that includes manual testers, automation testers and ISO responsibility. In addition, I worked as a project manager in Bsor and as a testing instructor in E-learning School.

I worked in embedded, real time, web and networks projects.

Today I work as the corporate QA manager in Retalix.

My programming knowledge includes: VB Script, JAVA, C, MS-SQL, VB, HTML, C# and XML.
My operating systems knowledge includes: UNIX, NT and XP
My testing tools knowledge includes: Mercury-HP Test Director, Mercury-HP Quality Center, Mercury-HP QTP, NUnit and JUnit.
My standardization knowledge includes: ISO 9001:2000 and CMM.
Other programs I know are: MS Project, Access, Office and frontPage.

I am an ISTQB foundation level certified and ISO 9001:2000 internal auditors certified.
I am a member in ISQ (Israel Society for Quality) and a member in SIGIST Israel
